RZR Header Pipe Shield - Thunderhawk PQ6912
Thunderhawk Performance offers this engine-mounted header shield which covers and protects the exhaust header pipe and the exhaust mounting springs. In stock form, it is common for the right rear tire to deposit a great deal of mud and leaves on the exposed header pipe. This debris bakes onto the exposed pipe and can be difficult to remove. The Thunderhawk header shield protects the header pipe and makes clean-up easy, by keeping most trail debris from contacting and collecting on the hot header pipe.
The Thunderhawk Performance engine-mounted header shield is designed to fit with the stock exhaust system on the 2008 model RZR. In 2009, Polaris added a small heat shield from the factory, so this part is not necessary. If an aftermarket exhaust is installed on any year RZR, this shield may be used, but may require modifications to fit. This item installs easily in about 10 minutes. Illustrated instructions are included.
